Our 2020 Mini Movie Makers and Young Filmmakers competitions close on Monday 24th February.  However, with the half-term holidays coming up, there’s still enough time for local children and young people in school years 3-13 to make and get their entries in before the deadline.

Entries can be from an individual or a group but they must tell a STORY and be between one and five minutes long.  There’s more information, handy tips and links to useful free  software at https://cwfilmclub.org/the-competitions-2020/

Entrants in each of the four age-related categories* have the chance to win awards and meet two of Britain’s leading film directors. What’s more their entries will be shown on the Memorial Hall’s big screen as part of this year’s Film Festival.

If you’re the parent, grandparent, friend or neighbour of a local 7-18 year old who has access to a smartphone, tablet computer, GO-PRO or similar type camera – it’s not too late for them to enter.  And with Leavesden and Pinewood Studios expanding, who knows what future opportunities it could lead to?!
