Friday 9th November 2018

As part of Chorleywood’s Armistice Centenary Remembrance weekend, we are showing the latest screen version of R.C. Sherriff’s powerful WW1 drama ‘Journey’s End’ .  Directed by Saul Dibb and starring Sam Claflin, Paul Bettany, Asa Butterfield and Toby Jones.  Set in the trenches in Northern France in March 1918, it gives a glimpse into the experiences of the officers of a British Army infantry company. The story plays out in the officers’ dugout over four days as they await the German Army’s Spring Offensive. (Cert. 12)
