Friday 15th May 2026 – H is for Hawk (2026: Cert 12A: 115mns)

On Friday 15th May, we will screen H is for Hawk (2026: Cert 12A: 115mns) an emotional drama based on a true story and best-selling book. Directed by Philippa Lowthorpe, it stars Claire Foy, Brendan Gleeson, Lindsay Duncan, Denise Gough and Sam Spruell.

Following her father’s sudden death, a Cambridge professor (Helen) grieves by recalling memories of their time together birdwatching and exploring the natural world. She turns to the ancient art of falconry, training a wild goshawk named Mabel to navigate her profound loss. But as Helen teaches Mabel to hunt and fly free, she discovers how deeply she has neglected her own emotions and life. What begins as an act of endurance transforms into an intimate journey of resilience and healing.
