We’re back with our 2019/20 season!

Our opening film is Green Book – a heart-warming drama comedy and winner of this year’s ‘Best Picture’ Oscar. (Buy tickets here or in person at the Chorleywood Bookshop).
Set in 1962, it tells the story of a unique and meaningful friendship that develops between a working-class Italian American bouncer and a highly educated African-American classical pianist when this mis-matched pair embark on a concert tour taking in the USA’s racially charged Deep South.
Directed by Peter Farrelly, it stars Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali and Linda Cadellini.

Green Book (Cert.12 : 127 mins : infrequent strong language, mild violence) is being screened at the War Memorial Hall, Common Road on Friday 20th September. The doors and bar open at 7.30p.m and the programme begins at 8.00p.m.
