Valentine’s Day Screening

Friday 14th February 2014 The Film Club presented the antidote to Valentine schmaltz.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (15)*is a funny, intriguing and moving film about love and estrangement. What would happen if you woke one day to find your loved one had wiped their memory of you in an attempt to move on? Would you do the same? What if you met again as strangers? Would you end up lovers again? A Valentine’s Day movie for the heart and the mind.

We were also very proud to bring screen the multi-award-winning short film The Voyagers. A story about the fastest-travelling and furthest Valentine from earth and the lovers who made it: Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan.

Over fifty people braved the gales to attended the screening – The Film Club’s second outing and our first in the Russell School venue which proved to be very good venue indeed.
