Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore (12A: 143 mins) directed by David Yates – the Film Club’s and Chorleywood Film Festival’s patron – is released in UK cinemas on Friday 8th April!  With a screenplay by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves, the film is the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts series and is set several years after the events depicted in the previous film in the series – The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Mads Mikkelsen, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston and Callum Taylor.
