Congratulations to local filmmaker Eleanor Dolan

Eleanor and co-director Junior Day release ‘The Brass Elephant in the Room’, an arthouse short, distributed by ALTER and in 3 days the film has got over 50K views on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube combined.

Eleanor, a talented young writer/director, is on the committee for the Chorleywood Film Club, producing the Young Filmmakers and Mini Movie Makers Competitions 3 years running. Currently, Eleanor is involved with Media Trust and ScreenSkills Emerging Talent Programme developing a historical-fantasy feature script and is also involved in the BFI Script Development Programme with a fantasy-drama script called ‘Stag Beetle’ which she hopes to launch in 2021. During lock-down Eleanor co-created 13 Pictures Ltd with Junior Day and Francis Cousins which aims to focus on modern Art-house films.
