On November 9th 2013, we conducted our first test screening to gauge whether Chorleywood would support a community cinema. The films we screened that day were Monsters University for the younger audience and Baz Luhrman’s The Great Gatsby for the adults in the village. The positive response we received encouraged us to proceed with our plans.
Five years later with fifty plus feature films under our belt, screenings now regularly sold-out and Chorleywood Film Festival firmly established, the answer to our original question is clearly ‘yes’!
