Covid-19 Protective Measures for Screenings of Chorleywood Film Club
Having reopened for ‘in-person ‘screenings, your safety is of paramount importance to us and the Government’s Covid-19 safety guidance and protocols for indoor gatherings applies.
We are restricting the numbers attending by only selling tickets in advance, spacing the seating in the Memorial Hall to enable social distancing and keeping windows and (when appropriate) doors open. We realise that this will compromise the hall’s heating, so when the weather gets colder, come prepared!
The Parish Council has ensured good ventilation of the Memorial Hall, is providing hand sanitisers at the entrance and has a thorough cleaning system in place after each event. As it is still possible for fully vaccinated individuals to catch Covid-19 and pass it on, we ask that you keep to the following guidelines:
- Please do not attend a screening if you are displaying symptoms of Covid, awaiting the results of a coronavirus test, have tested positive for coronavirus or during any isolation period following contact by NHS Track & Trace.
- As a courtesy to others and for mutual protection, attendees must adhere to the current Government requirements regarding the wearing of face masks in crowded and enclosed spaces – unless they are medically exempt.
- Help maintain social distancing as far as possible, for instance when queuing for refreshments at the Bar and when seated by leaving a gap of at least one chair width between you and anyone not in your group.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation – we’re really looking forward to seeing you at our events!
