Festival Saturday continues by celebrating the talent and creativity of local young filmmakers who submitted entries to the short film competitions we’ve been running.
You’ll see clips from all those entries on the big screen and during the afternoon the four winning films will be shown.
On hand to announce the winners and present the Chorleywood Film Festival Awards* will be our judging panel of award-winning professional directors – David Yates, Graham Ralph and Ed Foster.
David, whose latest film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald we’re screening that morning, will be interviewed by Martin Clarkson – our M.C. for the afternoon. Time permitting, we plan to have a short Q&A too.
The afternoon’s aim is to encourage this year’s entrants to continue making films and to inspire others to start making them too.
The Mini Movie Makers and Young Filmmakers Results & Awards session takes place at the War Memorial Hall, Common Road on Saturday 9th March. Doors open at 2.00p.m., programme begins at 2.30p.m.
Tickets: £2 in advance from Chorleywood Bookshop, online or on the door if still available. Competition entrants: free.
