THE COMPETITIONS 2022

THE COMPETITIONS ARE BACK

Can you tell a STORY? We are inviting YOU to make a mini movie or short film and see it on the BIG SCREEN!

Chorleywood Film Club’s Mini Movie Makers and Young Filmmakers Competitions are back for 2022!

The Mini Movie Makers calls years 3 to 6.

The Young Filmmakers calls years 7 to 13.

“I am excited that for the fifth year running Chorleywood Film Club will be launching the ‘Mini Movie Makers’ & ‘Young Filmmakers’ Competitions for 2022. After a tough couple of years for the creative arts we were delighted to host budding mini movie makers and young filmmakers in 2021. Entrants were creative with stop motion and live action in variety of subjects ranging from heroic warrior princesses, Doctor Who’s adventures, secret lives of pets to a Scottish Highlands murder mystery depicted in plasticine! It was inspiring to see such creative and imaginative pieces which were shared with an audience of friends, family and film enthusiasts. We also had a panel of award-winning judges handing out prizes and giving some insights into their careers as filmmakers! In conjunction with the competitions we are running a film bursary scheme open to entrants both past and future – this year’s successful applicants will be announced soon!.” says Eleanor Dolan (organiser of the Film Clubs Competitions).
